Which mayoral candidate would you vote for? | IPSOS-Global releases survey results in 5 big cities of Georgia

In the days leading up to the election, IPSOS Global commissioned by the Mtavari Channel conducted a survey of five cities with a population of more than 100,000. These are Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi and Batumi.
The question sounded the same and simple for all cities — which mayoral candidate would you vote for if the elections were held next Saturday?
Tbilisi:
- Nika Melia - 48.4%
- Kakha Kaladze - 51.6%
Zugdidi:
- Anzor Melia - 54.7%
- Mamuka Tsotseria - 45.3%
Rustavi:
- Davit Kirkitadze - 53.1%
- Nino Latsabidze - 46.9%
Kutaisi:
- Khatia Dekanoidze - 51.7%
- Ioseb Khakhaleishvili - 48.3%
Batumi:
- Giorgi Kirtadze - 51.3%
- Archil Chikovani - 48.7%
The study was conducted by IPSOS-Global, commissioned by the "Mtavari Channel". The survey was conducted from 23 to 27 October, using the principle of random sampling, through face-to-face interviews.
A total of 2,600 respondents over the age of 18 who are eligible to vote in these cities were interviewed. The results are based on the opinion of all these respondents. The margin of error in our study is +/- 3%.
