Rada MP's are not allowed to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili. Alexander Kovalchuk and Yulia Klimenko have been in Tbilisi for three days now and are requesting a meeting with the third president. They also addressed the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, but did not receive a response from Kakha Kuchava.
"We have been waiting for 3 days to be allowed entry, into Mikheil Saakashvili's cell. We have a direct connection with the ambassador, today we wrote a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament Kakha Kuchava and demanded answers, why are we not allowed to meet with Saakashvili, what is the explanation for this action? Why can't we meet a Ukrainian citizen? There is no answer from either the parliament or the embassy," Kovalchuk told the Mtavari Channel.
Rada MP's plan to provide detailed information to their government after returning to Kiev. According to them, Ukraine does not leave its citizens in trouble and monitors the security and health of Mikheil Saakashvili.
