Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili continues to attack critical media representatives.
After voting at the polling station, Gharibashvili was asked by Dea Mamiseishvili, a Mtavari Channel journalist, about the new investigation into the coup - why such investigations always coincide with the pre-election period and why they never end.
"Probably no one could have imagined that the convicted Saakashvili, the former president who ruled the country for 9 years, sneaked in secretly with the sole purpose of staging a revolution and chaos here. These people have no limits, they also had planned killings. Our services did everything and prevented it," Gharibashvili said in response to a question.
Gharibashvili was reluctant to answer additional questions, including whether there was any concrete evidence in the investigation, and traditionally turned to insulting the journalist.
"Be polite. You are an ordinary abuser now, you are a provocateur. It is shameful. Today we saw that there were some attempts to organize a provocation, including in Zugdidi, but the police are at the height of the call, I want to thank them, and we will not allow any provocateur to cause some unrest, anxiety and chaos at the polling stations," Gharibashvili told the journalist.
