Ivanishvili violated the election legislation - GYLA wrote a complaint

The Georgian Young Lawyers' Association has filed a complaint against Bidzina Ivanishvili for violating election legislation at the polling station. The organization says a similar violations are constantly repeated on election day.

In addition, GYLA prepared 6 complaints by 11:00 and made 4 remarks:

  • Unauthorized persons, namely members of his bodyguard, were present at the 4th polling station in Mtatsminda during Bidzina Ivanishvili's voting. Such a fact is constantly repeated on election day during Ivanishvili's voting, has not been eliminated and continues to this day;
  • In the 13th polling station of Martvili, the procedures for choosing which commission member would move the ballot box were improperly conducted. After the first-time commission member was not allowed to follow the box, the re-lottery was conducted and the preferred commission member was indicated on the appropriate document;
  • In the 16th precinct of Zugdidi, after a member of the commission identified by lot refused to act as a registrar, the chairman replaced him with a member appointed by the party. Both episodes of this case were appealed to precinct and district election commissions;
  • A package of ballot papers was delivered to the 9th polling station in Batumi in an unsealed condition;
  • GYLA called the police due to the presence of "Georgian Dream" agitation materials in the 25-meter radius of the 41st precinct of Vake, on the basis of which a response protocol was drawn up.
