The researchers conducting exit polls for the Mtavari Channel are being obstructed - Nika Gvaramia Names Precincts

Published:

We categorically demand an end to the pressure and obstruction on the exit poll producers - the statement was made by the CEO of the "Mtavari Channel".

According to Nika Gvaramia, "Mtavari Channel" is prevented from conducting exit polls, due to which the international organizations and non-governmental organizations accredited in Georgia are informed, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

"The main problems are obstructing the work of the staff and even physical abuse and harassment in some places. The police also participates in this. There are cases of party affiliates directly interfering with the jobs of the exit poll conductors.

Such problems have been significantly eliminated at the moment, but there are still some specific areas that are problematic - said Nika Gvaramia and listed the areas where the facts of obstruction were observed.

According to Nika Gvaramia, the attack is being carried out by representatives of non-governmental organizations of unknown origin:

"One of the ones we have established is the Center for Civic Development and Democracy Involvement, which is headed by Nina Khatiskatsi, the wife of Mestia Governor Kapiton Zhorzholiani," Nika Gvaramia said at a special briefing.
