By marking the trial on the 29th, Mikheil Saakashvili was told that he would not be alive at that time. This is the decision of today's court - said Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer Nika Gvaramia in the yard of the Tbilisi City Court.
Mikheil Saakashvili's trial has recently ended. The judge scheduled the next hearing for November 29. At the ongoing court, the judges did not allow the lawyers of the third president, Nika Gvaramia and Dito Sadzaglishvili to attend the hearing:
"The marking of the trial on November 29 is the pinnacle of cynicism. Today, they sentenced us to death by scheduling the next hearing.
By marking the trial on the 29th, they told Mikheil Saakashvili that he would not be alive at that time, and that his issue would be discussed without him," said Nika Gvaramia.
Nika Gvaramia says that what the government is doing in connection with Mikheil Saakashvili's trials has not been in done in any of the cases and such violations have not taken place among them, not even during Shevardnadze's time.
