I was fined 200 GEL, there will be a court hearing for disobeying a police officer - Zurab Japaridze

Zura Japaridze, the leader of Girchi - More Freedom, who blocked the entrance of the SSG building in Tbilisi a few hours ago, was released on a fine after being transferred to Varketili.

He was fined GEL 200 for blocking the road.

 "There will be a court hearing for disobeying the lawful request of the police, on which I said that, I did not hear their request, because I was sitting in my car." Said Zura Japaridze.

Zurab Japaridze arrived at the SSG building a few hours ago. He put his car in the entrance in protest and locked himself inside. After he did not answer the questions of the law enforcers, an evacuator was called on the spot and Zurab Japaridze was taken out of the territory with his car. Japaridze was moved throughout almost the whole city. Apparently the police were waiting for instructions on which penalty station to take him to.
