The United National Movement has issued a public statement warning all relevant authorities in advance that the above-mentioned peaceful assembly will take place for a limited period of time from 15:00 to 17:00.

The sole purpose of the pre-warning mechanism is to enable public authorities to take appropriate measures to ensure the exercise of the right of assembly and / or demonstration.

We call on the Ministry of Internal Affairs and relevant structures to ensure the peaceful conduct of the assembly and the fulfillment of the obligations imposed on them by law. In particular, according to Section 5 of Article 11 of the Law of Georgia on Assemblies and Demonstrations, "in case of necessity to block the transportation route due to the number of participants in the assembly or demonstration, the executive body of the relevant municipality is obliged to ensure their safety and alternative transportation route." - It is said in the statement of UNM.
