"Gori hospital is fully equipped with all the facilities necessary for the patient. The disseminated information that the MRI device is out of order is not true, it is technically functional, the software is being updated and the patient can receive all the necessary care" - said Tikaradze who visited the Gori Military Hospital.

When asked why it took the government so long to make a decision, Minister Tikaradze referred to the "epidemic of hunger" in the country.

Tikaradze says the hospital will not be blocked, and the doctors treating Mikheil Saakashvili will continue supervision in Gori.
