I was brought 3 hours early and the trial started 50 minutes late, you seem to have plenty of time, I don't - Mikheil Saakashvili

Georgia's third president Mikheil Saakashvili said at a court hearing that the start of the trial had been delayed.

He urged everyone to come to court at the appointed time so that the trial could start on time.

"I was brought to the courtroom three hours earlier. The trial started 50 minutes late. You seem to have plenty of time and I don't. I am one of the highest officials in Ukraine, an active politician in Georgia, a regional political leader, I have time to work and I really don't have time for useless comedies and 4 hours of pointless waiting. Get me on time when the time is right, and have everyone arrive on schedule as well. It's primarily a matter of public respect. These people who have gathered in the street should be respected and not treated this way," Mikheil Saakashvili said at the trial where the so-called "jacket" case is being discussed.
