The TV was switched off, to which Mikheil Saakashvili vehemently protested, after which he received the signal - Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer

Mikheil Saakashvili has stopped protesting - lawyers expect him to be able to exercise all his rights unhindered today. According to Dimitri Sadzaglishvili, the penitentiary institution relented only after Mikhail Saakashvili made a strong protest.

"Naturally the Ministry of Justice was angry and rightly so, because the State Inspectorate found 8 violations against Mikheil Saakashvili and not only dissemination of personal information in this decision, but also the fact that wrong information was often disseminated. [ ...]

Mikheil Saakashvili had a very harsh reaction and these people just walked out of the room, obviously because of that they did not leave the document.  About an hour and a half after leaving the room the television was turned off for the third President, the television was not physically taken away, but the signal was disconnected, so he could not receive the signal, to which Mikhail Saakashvili responded with a very strong and fair protest. Only then he got the signal back, it was restored yesterday, and he is still able to watch TV today.

"In fact we saw that the Penitentiary service left only after Mikhail Saakashvili protested very strongly," said Dimitri Sadzaglishvili.

According to him, Mikhail Saakashvili's protest ended after the restrictions were lifted. According to Sadzaglishvili, it is shameful when one day Minister Bregadze is saying how Mikheil Saakashvili damaged expensive equipment and the next day he is saying that the damage does not exceed 150 GEL.

"It is very sad news that both ministers and the head of the penitentiary institution have to make such cheap statements," he said.

Lawyers say they have no claims against the treating doctor and medical staff and thank them for helping the third president.
