Penitentiary system restricts Mikheil Saakashvili's already limited right to phone calls for 2 months

Mikheil Saakashvili has been prohibited from using the telephone for 2 months - a relevant document has been recently handed to the lawyer of the third President in the 18 facility.

According to Shota Tutberidze, it was determined that Mikheil Saakashvili violated the detention code and the damage he caused to the penitentiary institution was 70 GEL, therefore he was sanctioned.

However, it should be noted that Mikheil Saakashvili was already unable to use the phone, because the prosecutor's office does not allow him to do so.

Yesterday, on December 7, representatives of the Gldani prison arrived at the Gori hospital and told the third president that disciplinary punishments were imposed on him, for which they switched off the TV set and restricted visitors.

This punitive measure was met with a strong protest from the third president. He refused to take his medication and continue his treatment, after which the restrictions imposed on Mikheil Saakashvili were lifted.
