"He has high blood pressure" - Mikheil Saakashvili unlikely to appear in court tomorrow

Published:

Mikheil Saakashvili will probably not be able to attend tomorrow's trial. This was stated by Eka Kherkheulidze after she left Gori military hospital.

According to Kherkheulidze, the third president has high blood pressure, he is having a hard time moving and it will be hard for him to go to court tomorrow.

"His health condition does not give him the ability to move on his own. I think he will not be able to physically attend the trial tomorrow. Because of that he is very upset because you know that the court is the only opportunity where he can use this platform and of course it is unfortunate that he will probably not be able to appear in court. Kherkheulidze said.

Tomorrow, the Tbilisi City Court will hold a hearing on the case of illegal crossing of the state border.
