Human rights violations against Mikheil Saakashvili

Mikhail Saakashvili's Status in the Ombudsman's Report - The Ombudsman spoke about the human rights situation in 2021, stating that the Penitentiary office violated the rights of the third president by not allowing him to participate in the trials and by using force to transfer him from the Rustavi to the Gldani prison:

"The Public Defender of Georgia assessed the fact that Mikheil Saakashvili was denied the right to a fair trial when, in our opinion, he was not allowed to attend the first three trials because of an unreasonable argument.
