We will take steps to prove that Mikheil Saakashvili was a victim of inhuman treatment by the regime

The lawyers met with Georgia's third president at the Gori military hospital. His lawyer Dimitri Sadzaglishvili told journalists before entering the hospital that all steps will be taken to prove that Mikheil Saakashvili was a victim of inhuman treatment by the state.

"We will continue to take all steps that can prove that Mikheil Saakashvili was a victim of inhuman treatment by the state, by the regime, and we have already had our first successes on this path when the State Inspectorate established 8 violations regarding the illegal disclosure of Mikheil Saakashvili's personal information by the Ministry of Justice and the Penitentiary Service, also with the degrading actions taken against him and his dignity" - said Dimitri Sadzaglishvili.

Regarding the return of Mikheil Saakashvili to the prison, the lawyer says that the Ministry of Justice must take this decision based on the documents prepared by the doctors and not for political reasons.
