"He feels weak, he has lost weight" - Nika Gvaramia about Mikheil Saakashvili

Mikheil Saakashvili may not be able to attend the trial, scheduled for 23 December, for health reasons. According to his lawyer Niki Gvaramia, the third president is feeling weak and has lost a lot of weight.

"He feels weak. I am not commenting from a medical point of view. I can tell you what I see. He is weak, he has lost weight and it all is very apparent. He isnt on hunger strike, but he can't eat. He can't digest more than three quarters of the food and it's the result of psychological trauma. So frankly, he's so weak that he's thinking about going to court on the 23rd, but for me personally my position was that in this situation, if this keeps up, it's better to refrain from doing so no matter what his goal is and understand what that entails,  but in my opinion there is no greater purpose than his life right now," Nika Gvaramia said.
