Mikheil Saakashvili finished his treatment at the Gori military hospital and is discharged from the hospital - Bregadze

Mikheil Saakashvili has been discharged from Gori military hospital and we were obligated to return him to the penitentiary service," says the Minister of Justice Bregadze:

"There is a lot of information of various types, but of course I cannot talk about these speculations and the specialists of the relevant sphere can talk about it. As I have already told you, his treatment at the Gori Military Hospital is over. He was discharged from the hospital and naturally the prisoner cannot stay in the medical center after his treatment is over and he has been discharged from the hospital. - Bregadze said and again threatened that Mikheil Saakashvili will be placed in Gldani prison if he declares a hunger strike:

"If it is possible that there are health problems, in that case we have the 18th facility in Gldani, where we usually transfer all the inmates, and in that case he will be transferred to the 18th facility as it was in the previous case," Bregadze said.

Bregadze alleges that Mikheil Saakashvili put up resistance to the prison staff who told him that he had been discharged from the hospital and "did not obey the lawful demand".

Minister Bregadze denies that the guard used "violent methods" and reiterates that "everyone is equal before the law" and that when "a prisoner does not obey a legal request, forceful measures may be taken against him.

According to him, "the transfer of the prisoner is not agreed with lawyers".
