88 supporters - Shalva Papuashvili becomes speaker of parliament

Shalva Papuashvili was elected as Speaker of the Parliament. He was supported by a parliamentary majority - 88 in favour, 1 against - this is the result recorded on the board.

Papuashvili replaced Kakha Kuchava, who resigned on December 24.

Papuashvili is the fifth parliamentary speaker under the Georgian Dream.
