Three visits showed no significant changes in treatment approaches - the Ombudsman issued a statement on Mikhail Saakashvili's state of health.

Nino Lomjaria says that the recommendations of the members of the medical council, established under the auspices of the Public Defender, have not yet been implemented.

According to Lomjaria, today's report will be summarized and it will include the results of the three visits that took place after the hunger strike. According to Lomjaria, doctors visited Mikheil Saakashvili on November 23, December 12 and January 11:

"There have been no significant changes in the treatment methodology. The patient is mainly treated medicinally but the recommendations regarding the need for psychological and physical rehabilitation, which we made at the end of November, have not yet been implemented. We can see that there is no provision for this medical service, Therefore, if the situation has not changed significantly, both in terms of the treatment methodology and the patient's condition, we are not going to make an additional visit, because the three visits showed that there are no significant changes in treatment approaches," said Nino Lomjaria.
