The safety of Nika Gvaramia is the competency of the SSG and law enforcement services - Nino Lomjaria

Public defender Nino Lomjaria reacted to the assassination ordered by Ramzan Kadyrov and the case of sending hitmen to Georgia.

She said that the responsibility for the security of the CEO of the Mtavari Channel, Nika Gvaramia, must be taken by the State Security Service and the law enforcement agencies.

According to her, she has already communicated with Nika Gvaramia in this regard.

"The security and law enforcement agencies should be monitoring the case. If Nika Gvaramia feels that the state has not taken enough steps, both in terms of security and investigation, of course in that respect we can respond and protect his interests, but to uphold the security issue, it is the state security service and law enforcement agencies' competence.

I had a conversation with Nika Gvaramia, if there are any materials that will facilitate the issue of protection of human rights, of course we are ready to receive these materials and listen to the concerned party," said Nino Lomjaria.
