"I want to express solidarity with our brotherly Ukraine," Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili responded to the events around Ukraine at the Bureau meeting.

"The main task today is to prevent a new war in Ukraine and I think that all of our efforts, our deeds, and our words should be directed here so that no new war happens in Ukraine. This is therefore in the interest of Ukraine, Georgia and the entire region.

The unity of the West here is important and crucial to prevent the war in Ukraine. I want to convey to the population that we are in close contact with our Western partners and we will act in accordance with this communication," Shalva Papuashvili said.
