The Georgian embassy in Italy has issued a statement about the missing Georgian girl Salome Tetunashvili in Naples. The embassy writes that the search continues and local Italian law enforcement agencies have been involved in the case for 2 days at the request of the consulate.

"The search for the disappearance of the Georgian national continues in Italian Naples and on the basis of the consulate's request the local Italian law enforcement agencies have been actively involved in the case for two days now.
There is an intensive exchange of information with the Consular Service of Georgia. Additionally, the Consulate is in constant contact with the family of the missing person.
It should be noted that the fact of disappearance of a citizen of Georgia was reported to the Consulate by a family member of the missing person, as well as by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "The Consulate of Georgia in Rome immediately contacted local law enforcers," the statement reads.
