All of Georgia is in prison, everyone wants to escape from this prison, except the administrator - Mikheil Saakashvili

Published:

Georgia's third president, Mikheil Saakashvili, speaks out about the difficult socio-economic situation in the country and writes that all of Georgia is in prison and everyone wants to flee from this prison except the administrator.

We offer the letter:

"Georgia was the N1 reformer in the world, the safest country in Europe, the fastest progressing country of international transparency in the fight against corruption from 2004 to 2012.

We are still high in the rankings, but in a slightly different way. Ranked 7th out of 200 countries in the number of covid deaths, along with the notorious Somalia, and one of the highest amount of asylum seekers in Europe, among Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.

"They put me in jail because of my 2004-2012 rankings, but the whole of Georgia is  also in a prison, and everyone wants to flee from this prison, except the administrator," Mikheil Saakashvili wrote.
