"Death or adequate treatment... I ask for immediate admission of doctors" - Mikheil Saakashvili addresses Ivanishvili

Georgia's third president Mikheil Saakashvili has appealed to Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili during the ongoing trial at Tbilisi City Court.

According to Mikheil Saakashvili, he has been denied access to his personal physician at Rustavi prison for the past 5 weeks on Ivanishvili's orders.

The third president says that because of this his state of health may worsen and lead to a fatal outcome, for which Ivanishvili will be responsible.

"I want to appeal to Ivanishvili, you can't hide behind different slaves, everyone knows very well that you are running the process. I called a stylist in prison yesterday, he came yesterday and gave me a haircut. For 5 weeks now my personal doctor from New York has been writing every day to be allowed in, but a stylist was allowed in one day. Ivanishvili's forces have not allowed doctors in for 5 weeks now, in such conditions when I have severe weakness, severe anemia and many other processes, I have serious problems with hypertension.

At the same time, you know very well that my condition is worsening, I have already lost consciousness several times. This is happening at your behest, and you can't escape that fact, oligarch. You can't blame anyone, everyone will point the finger at you. I want to tell you that you can not escape international justice , under the circumstances, when you achieve your goal and everything ends lethally for me, but you will never see me losing my memory, losing my ability to think or becoming disabled. Either death or adequate treatment.

I am not just anyone. International justice will reach you. Ukrainian prosecutor's office has already started extraterritorial processes and all people who took part in my tortures, I'm sure, will be put on the international wanted list. You won't go to Turkey for a vacation anymore, you will have to swim in the swamp of the paragraph until Ivanishvili is followed by that account...
