Judge expelled Tako Charkviani from the trial of Mikheil Saakashvili

The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili continues with commotion. Recently, the court bailiffs removed politician Tako Charkviani from the courtroom.

The situation escalated after the judge pointed out to Mikheil Saakashvili that accusing them of treason is a serious accusation against the officials and that the prosecutor's office "will not tolerate it.

Tako Charkviani, who was in the courtroom, reacted to the judge's statement, "The corrupt prosecutor is a traitor, what else is he?!"

The judge then decided to expel Charkviani and asked her, if she thought the process was shameful, not to put herself in a position to take part in it.

"If you think this process is shameful, don't put yourself in a position to voluntarily participate in 'this shameful process.' Stay home and, if you're interested, watch it on TV. That the process is historic, I don't need to be reminded of that by anyone. I've been overseeing this case for six years and I'm well aware of the process I'm going through. But you have to let me run the process to completion," - Said the judge to Tako Charkviani
