"I saw this hall in ruins, when there was a coup, then I was terminated as a result of the coup.... Now, if this repetition happens, it is clear that it will be the same implementation, in this case the consoles will be used instead. ", - addressed Badri Japaridze, to the "Dream" MP's that have decided to revoke his mandate.
Speaking at the plenary session he said that the termination of the mandate will not change anything for him and he will continue to fight even without the mandate.
I want to tell you that I had the most exciting moment in this hall when I signed the Independence Act of our country, so I have seen this hall in ruins when the coup took place. Then my term was terminated in the coup d'état, which led to the termination of my parliamentary mandate. Here if this repetition happened it is clear that it would be exactly the same implementation, but there would not be a coup d'état for this, instead, the consoles will be used.
For me, however, this does not change anything, because our task, our spirit, will not change. Wherever I am, my country and my fellow citizens will be my top priority, and of course, even without a mandate, I will continue to fight for the change that every one of our citizens needs, because the country cannot withstand this situation, it leads to total nihilism. To remain in the swamp is to drown in the swamp. We will not be broken by any decision, including the decision to terminate my mandate," Badri Japaridze said.
