Another trial of Mikheil Saakashvili to be held in city court today

Today, 21 February, another trial of the third president will take place in Tbilisi City Court. The trial is about the 7 November case.

Mikheil Saakashvili will attend the session and once again address his supporters from the courtroom. The prosecution's evidence will be discussed in court.

"This is one of the politically motivated accusations that the third president of Georgia is pursued by the Georgian Dream government, which has the night of June 20 around its neck.

This accusation is completely groundless, as there is no evidence in the case to legally prove Mikheil Saakashvili's guilt. Mikheil Saakashvili himself said many times that it was a mistake, and he took political responsibility for this mistake when he left office," lawyer Dimitri Sadzaglishvili said.
