Radiation levels in Chernobyl have risen

Radiation levels in the Chernobyl zone have risen, Ukrainian media reported, based on data from Ukraine's State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation.
"Data from the automated radiation monitoring system, which is available online, indicates that the reference levels of gamma radiation have been significantly exceeded," the report said.
However, due to the occupation and ongoing hostilities in the area, it is not possible to determine the causes of the change in the radiation background in the closed area.
