Garibashvili has become a persona non-grata for the Ukrainian people until he changes his mind - Goncharenko

"While pro-Russian European leaders, including Czech President Zeman and French politician Le Pen, say the war is terrible, Georgia's prime minister is betraying Ukraine," said Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksiy Goncharenko.

After a harsh status on Facebook, he assessed the statements of Prime Minister Garibashvili with a televised commentary and recalled the Russian aggression of 2008, when the then Ukrainian President arrived in Tbilisi to support Georgia at the peak of its crisis and at the most dangerous time.

Goncharenko once again says that Russia will not stop at Ukraine and its target is Georgia:

"This is a betrayal not only of Ukraine but also of Georgia, because after Ukraine Georgia will be next. It pains me very much what I see.

Dear friends, have you forgotten in 2008, when Russian tanks were moving from Gori to Tbilisi, which country's President came to Tbilisi and stood next to you? It was the President of Ukraine.

How do you assess this shameful act?! Go to Rustaveli Avenue, my favourite avenue and explain to the government what position you should take when Putin, is destroying brotherly Ukraine. I believe in Georgia, Glory to Georgia.

While pro-Russian European leaders, including Czech President Zeman and French politician Le Pen, say war is terrible, Georgia's prime minister is betraying Ukraine. They will come to Georgia after us. This is horrible, I'm not trying to scare you but, Putin will not stop after Ukraine.

I cannot speak on behalf of the government, but for the Ukrainian people Garibashvili is henceforth persona non-grata until he changes his mind," Goncharenko told Mtavari.
