"I think the EU is also choosing Ukraine," Zelensky told the European Commission president

The Ukrainian president writes that after he spoke to European Council President Charles Michel, he also spoke to the president of the European Commission and stressed effective assistance from the EU.

Zelensky writes that he believes the EU will choose Ukraine.

 "Ukraine is fighting the invaders with arms in its hands, defending its freedom and its European future. I spoke to Ursula von der Leyen about the EU helping our country in this heroic struggle. I believe that the EU also chooses Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
