You are the people who represent the dignity of Georgia today" - President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili spoke to the citizens gathered for a rally in support of Ukraine on Rustaveli Avenue.

I am in the place where Georgia should be today. Next to President Zelensky, next to Ukraine. It is a dignity of our culture, traditions and the Georgian people that we are standing where our friendly country is fighting. For freedom, for independence, for a European future.

We are there too, we will be there too and I want to convey from here to President Zelensky my support and you are the people who represent the dignity of Georgia today. Thank you very much for that - says Zurabishvili.

Prior to this the President of Ukraine Mr. Zelensky addressed the Georgian population.
