Before the war the Russians said they would destroy even NATO's army, today their soldiers abandon their equipment, flee or are captured - Denys Shmyhal

"Before the war, the Russian army and high-ranking Russian military officials said that even the NATO army would be sunk in the English Channel, but today their soldiers are abandoning their combat equipment, fleeing or being captured," Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

He said the confrontation continues to this day in dozens of towns and hundreds of villages, where the enemy meets resistance from both the military and the population.

"The enemy is experiencing a serious shortage of both troops and combat equipment. Russia is committing more and more war crimes every day. These include the bombing of settlements, schools and hospitals. The enemy has even attacked the Zaporozhye power plant, which we have already spoken to world leaders about. Radiation has no boundaries, and the explosion of this nuclear power plant would have 6 times the devastating effects of the Chernobyl disaster.

The UN International Council for Human Rights has decided to set up a committee to investigate crimes committed by the Russians against Ukrainian civilians. The International Criminal Court will also begin investigating crimes committed by Russian terrorist forces in the coming days. The perpetrators will surely be punished.

I call on the population to unite. Stand together, because no one can defeat 40 million people united by one idea," said Denys Shmyhal.
