Russia has arrived in Belarus for talks with the Ukrainian delegation, the BBC has reported. According to Russian media reports, the plane of the Russian delegation has landed at Brest airport and the composition of the group has not changed.
The third round of talks is reportedly due to start at 15:00 local time.
This will be the third attempt to reach an agreement. As a result of the first two rounds of talks, the parties agreed on the following: Humanitarian corridors are needed to evacuate civilians. But attempts to create humanitarian corridors have so far been unsuccessful: Russia has not respected the "regime of silence". Residents have been unable to leave their homes and shelters due to incessant shelling, or the occupiers have opened fire on them and threatened to kill them along the way.
This morning, Moscow offered Ukraine humanitarian corridors only in the direction of Russia or Belarus. Kyiv rejected such an offer.
