If I had left, I would have ended my life here. I would still be alive, but I wouldn't be a person anymore, I wouldn't respect myself - this is how Volodymyr Zelensky answers the question of why he refused to leave Ukraine when he was offered to do so.

"The worst thing is what I will tell my children. Who am I? I am the guarantor of my people. That's why we have to be together. We have to defend ourselves together," Zelensky told ABC News.

He says he supports, helps as much as he can and is proud of the Ukrainian military.
