Chemists identified among occupiers, which may indicate preparation for chemical attack - Stratcom Ukraine

The presence of chemists as part of the Russian occupation contingent has been revealed, which may indicate preparation for a chemical attack against Ukraine, the Centre for Strategic Communications of Ukraine has said.

The Centre writes that the Russian occupiers were killed four days ago near Staromlinka. However, among the soldiers were individuals who graduated from the Military Institute of Chemical Safety.

According to them, among the documents of the Russian military there was a certificate of an officer of the Russian Armed Forces Aptayev. The document states that Aptayev served in the 21222nd military unit, which is a "federal department for the safe storage and destruction of chemical weapons" and is located in the city of Penza.

Aptayev is also known to be a graduate of the "Saratov Military Institute of Biological and Chemical Safety". Accordingly, the documents obtained may indicate that Russia is preparing a terrorist attack against Ukraine using chemical weapons.
