Georgian Dream MPs cannot answer the question whether Irakli Garibashvili will visit Kyiv after the Ukrainian president's speech.
This refers to Volodymyr Zelensky's video address yesterday, in which he called on the leaders of all the countries friendly to Ukraine to come to the capital.
"Everything is being done in order for Georgia to stand where the civilised world is standing on the basis of consultations with our partners and on the other hand of course on the insistence of our partners not to engage in military actions," Macharashvili said.
The MP did not answer the question whether Garibashvili's arrival and expression of support means participation in military operation or not.
Mikheil Sarjveladze has not answered The Mtavari Channel's question at all; MP Maia Bitadze said she does not know what the Prime Minister is doing, but "we must recognize that we are a friendly country to Ukraine.
Another MP, Gia Volski said that Georgia, has a country that has suffered enough" - "Georgia has taken political steps that not everyone would dare to take in such a situation; our country stands out".
MP David Sergeenko recalled that when he was a member of the government, he went to Ukraine in 2014 shortly after the conflict started.
"The friendship between Georgia and Ukraine is non-negotiable, there can be no 'ifs', no 'buts' here," he said.
