The third president of Georgia addressed the fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, from the courtroom:
"I want to say to the President of Georgia. I am being tried because I came into the country. She is being sued for why she went out of the country. If there are one or two more of these attempts, as far as I know they bought Iranian chandeliers for the palace, that's one offence that will result in 11 years, and she has another one, that a cop killer was pardoned, so I am waiting for her in the 12th facility, we can go on hunger strike together. I will teach her all this," said Mikheil Saakashvili.
