Head of State Security Service  does not answer questions about Giorgi Gabunia's case

Today, for the first time since the case of a contract killing was announced, the head of the State Security Service has shown up in front of  the cameras.

Liluashvili's office summoned Giorgi Gabunia for questioning only a few days after the case was announced, but instead of the State Security Service, the journalist will go to court for questioning and will answer the questions of the Judge Magister.

Grigol Liluashvili says the society will learn the details eventually and so far no details can be made public.

According to the lawyer of Giorgi Gabunia, Dimitry Sadzaglishvili, the interrogation of the journalist will be more effective in the court. The same applies to Nick Gvaramia, who will be questioned in the presence of the Judge Magister   instead of the State Security.

Gabunia was handed the subpoena, but even in this case, we chose the questioning in the presence of the  judge magister. In the case of Nika Gvaramia, we have informed the State Security Service that we are not going to come and, therefore, he will be interrogated in court if the State Security Service insists, “- said Dimitry Sadzaglishvili.

According to the lawyer, this decision was caused by their distrust of the State Security service.The timing of the interrogation of Giorgi Gabunia and Nika Gvaramia depends on the decision of the State Security Service.
