Russians kill 53 people in Chernihiv- humanitarian disaster in the city

Just yesterday, the city morgue received the bodies of 53 of our citizens killed by the Russian aggressors. We will take vengeance on each of them," says Vyacheslav Chaus, chairman of the Chernihiv regional state administration.

The city's mayor even spoke about the humanitarian disaster that is now in Chernihiv.

According to him, there is no heating, electricity, water, little food and medicine for several days. Speaking to Ukrainian media, he said it was impossible to maintain sanitary conditions, exposing the city to the risk of the spread of intestinal diseases.

"Sanitation is impossible because there is no water in the city. Hot and cold water is impossible because there is no electricity. Almost all infrastructure is destroyed. The intensity of enemy shelling from all types of weapons in the residential sector has increased significantly in the last day and a half," Atroshenko added.
