Today, Tbilisi City Court will discuss the case of Levan Khabeishvili, a member of the United National Movement. This will be the first session in two years.
We are talking about the criminal case against the opposition MP, where the prosecutor's office accuses Khabeishvili of beating Irakli Zarkua, a member of the Georgian Dream.
"Two years ago, the public saw well how they attacked me in the City Council, and in the meantime, you will be surprised if I say that I am accused of beating and beating Irakli Zarkua. Obviously, there was no such thing, but in a hands of a quasi court, in the hands of Ivanishvili and his government, the fact was turned against me and now they are trying to punish in this direction," Khabeishvili said.
Khabeishvili links the resumption of the case against him to his political activities.
