Georgia's third president Mikheil Saakashvili publishes a letter about another soldier killed in Ukraine, Bakhva Chikobava, and says he will definitely become a national hero of Ukraine.
According to Mikheil Saakashvili, the any future patriotic government of Georgia will definitely award him the title of National Hero of Georgia.
"My friend Bakhva Chikobava carried 4 wounded soldiers from the besieged city under fire at great risk. Among them was my close friend Giorgi Kuparashvili who was seriously wounded. Bakhva saved their lives and died in an explosion on his way back, this man will definitely become a national hero of Ukraine, but any future patriotic government of Georgia will definitely give him the title of National Hero of Georgia. I wish my brother Giorgi Kuparashvili a speedy recovery and a very long life to spite the enemy," Mikheil Saakashvili wrote.
For reference: Bakhva Chikobava was killed by invaders on March 19th while defending Mariupol. He was a participant of all wars in Georgia and in recent years was enrolled in the Azov battalion in Ukraine. The transfer of his body is still impossible due to military operations.
