According to the UNM, more than 1,000 new voters have been registered in one district of Batumi - Preparations to rig the elections?

"Dream" began preparations for rigging elections - according to the "National Movement", 1,053 new voters were registered in one of Adjara's electoral districts. Specifically where the late deputy of the Batumi City Council won.

The opposition today presented a list of those who registered between March 6 and 16. Among them are people who voted in the last mayoral elections in Khulo, Tsalka and other municipalities.

Nugzar Putkaradze's son Mate Putkaradze urges voters to be more active.

"I knew from the beginning how I was engaged in an unequal, unfair battle. The dream is to try to win with transferred people," said Mate Putkaradze.

Ciala Shavadze, Chairman of Batumi Constituency Election Commission, said she hadn't received the new lists from CEC but she didn't exclude the possibility for the voters to change their registration within the terms stipulated by the law.

The UNM gives the commission until the end of the day to review the lists, otherwise it is possible that they will boycott these elections.
