"Perhaps the Ukrainian side is more responsible for the friendship," said Kadagishvili, a Dream MP, responding to a letter from the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament. Kadagishvili reiterates to the warring country that the Georgian government has expressed its support in all international forums.
"Perhaps they should once and for all stop using rhetoric that is damaging and prevents our relations from becoming even closer," Kadagishvili said of Ukraine.
As for coming to Ukraine, he claims, "they have no problem with going anywhere." Kadagishvili accuses Ukraine of "provocative statements."
"As for the visit, we have no problem with going anywhere. The only important thing is that when you are responded to with provocative statements, it is sometimes offensive to visit in such relations, especially with the state officials. Georgia supports Ukraine in every way. This is an example of an internal political struggle - come or go, whether you are afraid or not. This kind of bickering gets a little ugly. No one has a problem with visiting. You just need to treat people better, especially before inviting them, and you shouldn't blame them unforgivable things beforehand. Neither I nor any other representative has a problem with visiting Ukraine, perhaps other steps will be taken in connection with that. The visit will happen sooner or later, but the existing background must be removed by the Ukrainian side. They shouldn't be condescending towards us. It shouldn't be annoying to anyone that a war isn't being waged here" said Irakli Kadagishvili.
