MP Salome Samadashvili showed pictures of the Ukrainian war to the members of the Georgian Dream at the meeting and told them that it was the merit of the current situation in Ukraine, rather than the Georgian Dream, that the nation was handed the EU membership application.
According to the MP, today, if anyone talks about granting candidate country status to Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, it is based on the only reality - the main thing in the world has become moral factors.

"For two days now, we have been hearing the unbelievable statement from the representatives of the Georgian Dream that it seems to be the merit of any of you that we received the questionnaire regarding EU membership.
So now look carefully at these photos and remember and understand whose merit it is that we received the EU questionnaire today, the merit of 180 children killed by Russia in Ukraine, 1800 civilians killed by Russia in Ukraine, 5 million refugees who ran away from home", - told Salome Samadashvili.

She said Georgian Dream and Irakli Kobakhidze set conditions for showing condolences and soldiarity.

She called on the government to go to Ukraine without any conditions, as well as to adopt a resolution in support of Ukraine, which was prepared by the opposition.
