Shalva Papuashvili held an online meeting with the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, the press service of the Georgian Parliament reports.
"Shalva Papuashvili once again expressed Ukraine's strong support for Georgia and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
At the meeting it was decided that in order to avoid misunderstandings about different information in the future it is important to communicate with each other in advance and exchange information.
The possibility of cooperation and exchange of experience between Georgia and Ukraine in the process of joining the EU was also discussed at the meeting.
The parties agreed on the visit of the speaker of the Georgian parliament to Ukraine in the coming days," the statement said.
