UNM and Mikheil Saakashvili were not discussed - Papuashvili on visit to Ukraine

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili says that the issue of a third president during his visit to Ukraine was the subject of neither a closed meeting with the speaker of the Rada nor an open format.

"The United National Movement, Mikheil Saakashvili, was not discussed there in any way. there was exactly one mood and one spirit, it was warmth, friendship and the desire to end these misunderstandings," he said. Papuashvili.

Papuashvili says the main thing is to "look forward" and that they are committed to cooperation with Ukraine.

"Undoubtedly, the UN is one of the reasons for the muddying of the waters and the fact that the public in Ukraine,  has a wrong perception of Georgia. We see among them that the faces of the UNM are actively viewed through the Ukrainian media, and their main task is to present the country badly in the eyes of the Ukrainian people and to weaken Georgia's solidarity with Ukraine," Papuashvili said.

Recall that a few days before the visit, "Dream" gave Ukraine an ultimatum and called for the removal of members of the "Radical Opposition" in exchange for their arrival there. Among them was David Arakhamia, who is the chief negotiator with Russia and also the chairman of the largest faction of the Rada "Servant of the People."

For reference, a Georgian parliamentary delegation arrived in Ukraine on April 16, where they met with Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk. They visited Bucha and Irpen, destroyed by Russian military aggression. The "National Movement" paid a separate visit to Ukraine.
