According to Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream, it would be counterproductive for President Zelensky to meet with the UNM delegation in Kyiv. He spoke about this topic on Palitranews.
Kobakhidze reiterated that it is problematic for the "Dream" that the representatives of the "National Movement" are in quite high positions in the Ukrainian government.
The journalist asked Kobakhidze what their reaction would be if the UNM delegation met with high-ranking officials, including Margvelashvili Zelenski.
"Of course, it will be counterproductive. Therefore, we hope that this will not happen. It is natural, in theory, to imagine such a case that they [the National Movement] are talking about, that President Zelensky did not meet with the Georgian delegation, the official who was the Speaker of Parliament and he is meeting with the delegation of the National Movement - Melia, Margvelashvili and others. If we imagine this, of course, it will be another negative sign, naturally such a thing will not help the relations between the countries," Kobakhidze said.
