Empathy doctors should be allowed to regularly visit Mikheil Saakashvili - Motion of the lawyers

In Tbilisi City Court, lawyers for the third president petitioned for permission for doctors from the Center for Empathy to visit Mikheil Saakashvili's prison and provide him with medical services.

"I appeal to the director of the Special Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia with a request to instruct the members of the board created by the Center of Empathy to visit Mikheil Saakashvili in the 12th penitentiary and to provide him with appropriate medical services," the lawyer said in a statement.

According to him, the only condition for the judge's decision is the existence of a threat to a person's health. The lawyer did not give any additional arguments on this issue, saying that the findings of several councils regarding the health problems of Mikheil Saakashvili, including inhuman treatment, are already known.
