The Georgian Dream is not going to release Giorgi Rurua

Members of "Georgian Dream" declare that they have fully implemented the agreement of March 8 and are not going to release Georgi Rurua, as there are no political prisoners in the country and the agreement of March 8 does not provide specific names.

Majority leader Mamuka Mdinaradze stated that the opposition fully withdrew from the 8 March agreement.

As for the joint statement on non-interference in justice, only a PR campaign is planned as a condition for the release of the political prisoner in the office of one particular party. If someone says that Archil Talakvadze and Irakli Kobakhidze at that meeting, at some point and not at the end, at least bowed their heads or promised to release someone, that's a lie,- says Mamuka Minaradze.

Irakli Kobakhidze, a member of Georgian Dream Party, says the opposition is looking for an excuse not to fulfill the promises given in the presence of ambassadors.

The release of a prisoner under the March 8 agreement has nothing to do with it, especially when it comes to pre-trial detention, the sole function of the court. No one can determine the court by political agreement, who should be released and who should not be in custody, he said.

The ruling party says in advance that at the third meeting, scheduled for Monday, there will be enough votes to make constitutional changes.
