"Today we reap the result of inaction of the court and deeds of the penitentiary"

The trial of the third president was held in the Tbilisi City Court. Both lawyers have already appealed to the court. Mikheil Saakashvili could not attend the session today because his health condition did not allow him to do so.

According to lawyer Shota Tutberidze, the court has also contributed to the extreme worsening of the President's health condition along with the penitentiary service.

"Mikheil Saakashvili cannot attend the current court hearing simply because he has not been provided with medical care by the penitentiary service, the court has also contributed to the case. Whereas in previous hearings we repeatedly sought medical care and the court gave out stillborn rulings with very general standards, today we are reaping the result of this inaction on the part of the court and the deeds of the penitentiary service. The only result of which is that for Mikheil Saakashvili be neutralized both physically and politically," said lawyer Shota Tutberidze.
